I will never ask your children to smile & look at the camera, my sessions are a time for imagination as we go in search of mythical creatures, forage for berries & stare in wonderment for the fairies dancing in my lens. I want your children to feel comfortable & at ease with me as this is when we see their vibrant souls shining through.

You can come to my beautiful home from home newborn studio or I’ll bring everything to you. My aim is to give you a relaxed, intimate & memorable experience to cherish forever, to look back on with fondness.

My maternity sessions are an empowering celebration of you in your journey of motherhood, a time to celebrate your body and all that it’s doing to nurture your babe in utero. Maternity sessions are a time to deeply connect, to slow down, to breathe in these final weeks of entwinement before your baby joins you earthside.

My newborn photography sessions are gentle and relaxed, an invitation to soak in those fragile early weeks with your newborn love. You’ll want to bottle up these memories of them, however tiny they are. To remember the early days that were so deeply intertwined and full of tender nurturing, the days that felt oh so long but the nights oh so short. I can come to you at home or I’ll welcome you into my home from home newborn studio. My aim is to give you a nurturing, relaxed experience to cherish forever, one you will look back on with fondness.

My family photography sessions are full of so much fun & so full of love. A time for adventure & imagination as we go in search of mythical creatures, forage for berries & stare in wonderment for the fairies dancing in my lens. We can find somewhere beautiful to shut off from the world, focus only on your love, dance & play in the last of the day's sun. If you’d rather be at home, we can artfully capture your every day happenings, details of your children's love, their heights etched on the walls, baking in the late afternoon glow; there’s something so precious about documenting those gentle, quiet beautiful mundane days at home, within the walls that held you all in this chapter of your families story.
Family life is a wild ride, it’s beautifully chaotic & they are chapters that end before we realise they’ve even begun. I want you to be able to reminisce on these stages as they ebb & flow like the seasons.

How does booking a shoot work?
If you're ready to book a session, click on the CONTACT FORM with as much information about your session dreams. Please make sure your email & contact number is filled in correctly so I can get in touch. Keep an eye on your JUNK folder as I tend to land there.
Once we've agreed on your session date, a £100 deposit & signed contract is needed to hold this in my diary, and then we're good to go.
what to expect?
About 4 weeks before your session you’ll receive a beautiful session guide to help get you ready, and we can have a pre session catch up on the phone or over zoom. My sessions are gentle & laid back, I want you & your children to feel like you're catching up with an old friend; my intention is to give you a cherished experience, to hold space, to celebrate you all as you are. I'm drawn to nature & working within the seasons, we'll venture outside in the beautiful golden light or get cosy at home, to tell a story of your love.
When is best to enquire?
I always recommend for maternity & newborn sessions, to reach out at the 20wk point of your pregnancy as I book up months in advance; particularly weekend slots. For newborn sessions, we pencil in a date 7-10 days after your due date. When little one arrives, we can adjust the date if needed.

Extra FAQS

I’m available for daytime sessions on a Tuesday, Thursday & Friday either at my home studio in Biggleswade or in your home. Most of my clients book a few hours off for their session or are still on leave for their newborn session. I can sometimes be flexible with these days, depending on childcare; please let me know on enquiry. I work one Saturday or Sunday a month so if you know you’d like a weekend session, please reach out as soon as possible as they book quickly.
For outdoor location sessions these can take place during the day or at sunrise / sunset, when the light is most beautiful; they are held on a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.

If a little rain doesn’t bother you, and it’s not an absolute downpour, we can still shoot. But if you’d rather not, we can move your session to the nearest available date in my diary. I keep a close eye on the weather in the run up to your session date & will keep in touch with you a few days prior if it’s looking like we need to reschedule.

My home studio is based in Biggleswade & is a perfect setting for newborn, maternity & motherhood sessions. I use locations in the Biggleswade, Potton, Letchworth areas. I take a long time getting to know my locations as it’s important to understand how the landscape changes with the season as well as the movement of the light in the space; I also look for easy & safe access for clients. I’m always happy to travel, there are additional travel fees outside of 20 miles; I have had clients in the Lake District & Scotland as well as clients in Cambridge, Bedford, Hertfordshire & London. If I’m travelling with my family, I always share my dates on my social media & newsletters as this saves travel costs for you.
