Capturing Their Extraordinary : A Relaxed Family Maternity Session In Hertfordshire

As a newborn and maternity photographer in Hertfordshire I am so honoured that I get to capture these precious moments for people I love. Photos truly are the most precious gift that you can give to yourself & your children. They act as a portal back to these precious days, those fleeting & hazy days, all seasons are worthy of capturing - you don’t need a milestone or new addition to document your beautiful life, celebrate & document your family chapter as you are right now.
This was an extremely special session for me as Natasha is a friend of mine, we first met in the doctors surgery post 6 week check up in the midst of a global pandemic. Both shellshocked as we’d both welcomed our second daughters and mothering two under two. Needless to say we forgot to exchange details, but unbeknown to us both Tash was already following my photography journey on instagram & we would be reunited through a poo soaked baby grow. And the rest, as they say, is history!!! Our girls are like sisters, they are all our daughters and I couldn’t be more excited to capture this new chapter for The Gibby’s as they get ready to welcome their third daughter into the world. Our fifth & final member to our Spice Girl fanatics! And of course this was my very first session that got rained off half way through, so Tash & I reconvened on another beautiful summers evening to capture her in THAT gold gown. And my goodness did she glow like a goddess! Such a special evening with my beautiful friend, I also had the joy of a natural newborn photography session for little Maddie in the meadow at 3 weeks new; really can’t wait to share those with you all soon. Newborn sessions don’t have to be at home or in the studio, I absolutely adore creating timeless photography for families & their newborn baby outside, surrounded by beautiful nature & watching as little one takes it all in, as you soak them all in.
