I absolutely love natural newborn photography, using gentle storytelling when I am capturing families. This beautiful St Albans newborn session at home was incredibly special for me, watching Magda with her girls took me right back to when my two were so young. When the days of mothering were so deeply intertwined with our daughters. We chatted all things mothering, the different seasons and the ebbs and flows, breastfeeding and aversion, tandem feeding. I loved sharing our mothering stories together. This in home newborn session was just the perfect way to start 2024, celebrating the arrival of little Elodie. I absolutely loved capturing Lila’s energy, her little personality and all her beautiful faces as she adorned and celebrated her baby sister. Magda chose to encapsulate all these beautiful moments from our time together, into an heirloom fine art photo album, she favourited her favourite and then I took care of all the design work before she signed off the final album. In this digital age, don’t let you memories sit on your hard drive, the digital photos are not the final product. If you already have little ones & are worried about how they may “behave” (and I use this term in the lightest possible way as I hate this reference when it comes to children") please please don’t. Yes it may be energetic or chaotic, but I promise you’re in good hands, I will bring with me a calming energy that will make the session so much fun for your little ones whilst still capturing their essence, their energy, their love & getting those precious family portraits & tiny newborn details.
