Richmond Deer Park London Family Photoshoot - Kezi, Ehis, Eden & Rumi

There is always something incredibly beautiful in capturing a fellow photographer. Kezi & I have chatted often on Instagram about the ebbs & flows of mothering, the transition from one to two children, the challenges that can come with breastfeeding; so it was an absolute joy to finally meet in person. This session was absolutely beautiful, the setting of Richmond Deer Park in London felt so calm & enchanting, I absolutely loved being in their company watching Eden feed the deer as his mother loving looked on whilst feeding his new little brother Rumi. Rumi was only 8 weeks old when we captured him, it is such a lovely age as little ones are awake a little longer & interacting with their world, noticing the leaves blowing in the wind or reacting to the stubble of their fathers beard.

So many people I have the honour to work with ask when is the best age to capture their babies or their children and there is no magic age. My answer is always the same, RIGHT NOW. I truly believe the early years of raising our children are the hardest, the messiest, but they are the ones that we will struggle to remember hope to never forget. You deserve to have beautiful memories of this season in your life, to look back on and transport you right back to that time when your children were once babies.
